Atarì burners are designed to transform the everyday into the extraordinary. Each ritual is a moment to slow down, reconnect, and awaken your senses. Whether you’re starting your day with stillness or winding down in reflection, our burners help ground your space in beauty and purpose.
Follow these steps for a safe, effective, and elevated sensory experience:
-
Prepare the Burner
Begin by placing your Atarí Marble Burner on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts or flammable items. To protect the brass bowl and extend its life, insert one Atarí Liner inside the bowl. This acts as a barrier between the heat and the brass, helping reduce buildup and residue over time. -
Ignite the Disk
Using brass tongs, carefully hold an ignite disk, charcoal and light it at one edge with a lighter or match. You’ll notice the disk begin to spark—this is normal. Allow it to burn for about 20–30 seconds until it glows red. -
Place the Ignite Disk, Charcoal
Once lit, gently place the Ignite disk, charcoal into the brass bowl or directly on the Atarí Liner. Let it sit for 1–2 minutes, allowing it to fully ignite and turn a light gray color. This ensures it’s hot enough to properly release the fragrance of your incense. -
Add the Perfumed Bakhoor Incense
Break off a small piece of your perfumed bakhoor incense and place it on top or beside the ignite disk, charcoal. Avoid using the entire tablet at once, as this can produce excessive smoke or burn unevenly. -
Enjoy the Ritual
The incense will begin to smolder, releasing deep, layered aromas into the air. Use your hand to gently wave the scent around the room for a more immersive experience. Replenish with small pieces as needed to prolong the burn. -
After Use
Allow the burner, liner, and remaining disk to cool completely before discarding the ash or handling the components. For regular users, we recommend replacing your Atarí Liner periodically to maintain a clean, consistent burn.
